Activities of the Estonian Health Foundation in 2013

  1. In 2013, the Estonian Health Foundation was a member of Tehnopol and took part in research and business projects.
    Cooperation projects:
    • Meetings with medical companies.
    • Seminars introducing innovations and developments in medicine.
    • Discussions and roundtables with medical clusters.
  2. Spring 2013 – informing the public about vaccination and notifications over the Internet. www.arst.ee
  3. Spring 2013 – proposal to the Economic Affairs Committee of the Riigikogu on regulating the advertising of health services.
  4. April 2013 – organising a Heart Day at the Riigikogu. Medical examination of members of the Riigikogu, and consultations in cooperation with the Tallinn Health Care College and the Cardiology Clinic of the North Estonia Medical Centre.
  5. In cooperation with the software company Medisoft – preparing and integrating the SMS programme for family physicians and the e-mail based patient feedback programme "Recall".
  6. Implementation of the online medicinal consultation module.www.docline.ee
  7. Autumn 2013 – cooperation projects with the Estonian Cancer Society.
  8. Autumn 2013 – proposals for restricting the advertising of e-cigarettes.
  9. October 1, 2013 – the conference "Men’s Health" bringing together 400 participants.
